I Kieth! Its always amazing that people are skeptical of the power of thier own mind and experiences….
What you are seeing is real. These techniques work very well, and the instruction Richard and John present is second to none. I would be more than happy to answer any questions about my experience because I am the person being hypnotized in this video.

Yes and no. If a person has seen you hypnotise someone else and now believes you are a hypnotist then it is possible to create an instant induction like this. It’s unlikely to happen if you just attempt it out of the blue without preconditioning of some kind. Possible but unlikely.
can all these techniques be used without having the person previously hypnotized?
You are a moron. First, they are a client only if they are paying you. Second, what is wrong with the term subject? Are you really so PC that this is your most important issue in life?

They are not subjects, and I fear for anyone you induce. You should not have access to anyone’s unconscious when thinking of them as ‘subjects’. They are clients for god’s sake.
im glad you mentioned this about family, because the only failures i have had so far is with family… and it was messing with my head a little.
and also i want to say that it wont work or will be much harder to do it on people that are close to you..didn’t work on my family members and..best friend…depends how good you know him it wont work or will b much harder to hypnotise him…so family and close friends,ppl arent the best for hypnotising…good luck!
Yeah…i tried on my family members too but nothing worked that’s because they wont find anything you do unexpected…then i tried to do it with my friend(press on my hand…close your eyes…SLEEP!)…worked perfectly i also tried the handshake one(i’m pulling out my hand for a handshake and as soon as he does i take my other hand and take his wrist and show him his hand and tell him”hand is coming closer and as it does your eyes are becoming heavy):P anyway everything works

I studied this in 1994 with my late teacher Harold Milnthorp (stoke) It does work and I have done it but I’m not an expert at it, I and scare people into a trance in other ways

im not saying you,as a martial artist are’nt confident, im saying, as a hypnotist doing shock inductions, you probably are’nt confident.

i have walked up to people,asked if they’d like to experience hypnosis,used ‘shock’ inductions and they’ve all gone.
why could’nt you understand what the guys were saying? maybe your speakers were’nt loud enough?
Family members are not the best subjects because you already have a relationship with them as apposed to hypnotist- client relationship
that is not going to work on a few people it will just scare the crap out of them! and This direct method? Ive used it but don’t prefer it …..you guys Well for one thing I could hardly understand what you were saying!

hmm, i always find family members are’nt the best subjects to be honest.
just tell her the funnier she finds it, the more she relax’s, the more she relax’s, the deeper she’ll go etc…then bang..do it, no hesitation. or just try a different induction.
Well I have tried these inductions on my mother and sister.

how confident are you when performing it?
you must be positive when doing it.
are you showing any authority?
start by asking them to stand/sit/stand a certain way, make them follow your instructions..if they dont follow, move on.
The handshake never works for me, why?
