The Remiped Philthyharmonic Orchestra conducted by the legendary Jimmy Blowed perform Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss, the theme from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 A Space Odyssey. This live performance features Glyn Bartlett on trumpet with his unparalleled improvisational virtuosity providing an inspirational motivation for the rest of the band to boldly go where no orchestra has gone before in achieving a truly unique and memorable interpretation of this classic theme. Captured on a re-discovered bootleg recording of The Remipeds very first concert at The Canterbury College of Art in 1979.
